Technical Center
The role of the Abacus Technical Center (ATC) is two fold:
- Uphold our cornerstone of total quality with a state of the art testing facility
- Maintain a large inventory to fill orders quickly, possibly the same
day, including spare parts for emergencies
Located in Atlanta, Georgia, the ATC is home to our multi-million dollar
inventory of diverse IT equipment. At the ATC, our people and products intersect,
providing an outlet for all equipment to be continually tested and configured
by our manufacturer trained and certified engineers to ensure they meet
our customers' ever-changing business requirements.
All pre-owned equipment Abacus provides is thoroughly tested, totally refurbished
to look as good as new and professionally packed in our state-of-the-art
Technical Center. Our quality control process ensures that you receive a
high quality product in excellent working condition. We provide technical
support ranging from concept and design to implementation and integration
for all unused and used equipment. And, we provide a 30-day warranty on
all products.
All refurbished equipment goes through the following checklist, which guarantees only the highest quality machines arrive are delivered, ready to run, right out of the box:
- Equipment is configured to customer requirements
- Equipment successfully tests to manufacturer specs
- Serial numbers are recorded
- Equipment is refurbished and cleaned to look as good as new
- All components are accounted for
- Shipment is professionally foam packed, wrapped and banded; large orders ship in wheeled, padded and secure crates
- Proper paperwork is filed (domestic and international)
- Personal follow up on all orders
- Shipment is complete and accurate
